Internship and Volunteer Placement

As an IH Sol Group student, you have two options for gaining valuable work experience in Canada:

Internship

For students with a professional background and at least a high-intermediate level of English, we offer a Professional Internship Placement. Based on your work experience and education, we will place you in one of our large networks of local businesses. You will learn from the experts, practice your English with native speakers, learn industry-related jargon, and gain the experience and confidence you will need for future jobs in your field.

Volunteering

If you are not looking for a particular field of work but just a place to gain some work experience in an English speaking environment, IH Toronto's Volunteer Placement will give you the opportunity to work in an entry-level position that may or may not relate to your field of study. However, it is a chance to meet new people, improve your English skills through interaction with native speakers and provide help to local communities. Volunteer positions are generally in environmental or community service fields.
