The Five Hour Workshops

The IH Toronto Five Hour Workshops are designed for teachers who are already in the field or for recent TESL graduates from any recognized program. The workshops will enhance your teaching methodologies and will also be a great addition to your resume.

Teachers take these workshops to help increase their knowledge about specific classes, to get into a new area of teaching and to gain new and creative ideas. There is an assignment component to each workshop which will help you apply the new techniques and methodologies to your class or to a lesson plan.

In order to maximize your learning experience, the workshops have been designed to be interactive and hands-on. The ideas and information exchanges generated from these workshops are invaluable and will help teachers to constantly stay on top of new teaching trends.

Since all our workshops are based on specific topics, feel free to join the ones you find interesting. All material is provided to you and suggested further reading is recommended in class.

Upon completion of each workshop, you'll receive an International House Toronto skills certificate recognized by any reputable institution.
